Large 18th Century Lancashire Chest of Drawers George III Dresser
This is an exceptionally fine quality piece, this is an 18th century George III chest of drawers or dresser circa 1780, it is oak lined and has an oak planked back. The chest has 7 drawers in all, 3 along the top and 2 over another 2 beneath, they have original brass swan neck drop handles and original brass escutcheons, there is a scalloped gallery to the back. The chest stands on ogee feet, and it has very attractive reeded columns at each of the front corners. The chest has a wonderful patina and is in good condition for its age.
This is an extremely large and heavy chest help will be required to move it when it is delivered.
The chest is 42” high, 68” wide and 23” deep
