Description
SALE - WAS £180 NOW £110 A very heavy and good-sized 19th century bronzed spelter bust of a beautiful young maiden wearing a half hooded cloak revealing a tiara to the centre of her curled hair. She wears a serene expression with her head gently turned to dexter above a double string of pearls and the bust is raised upon a square, splaying waisted socle adorned with a centrally ribboned floral spray which terminates in a plinth base.
In good, general overall condition, the piece exhibits only very minor wear commensurate with age (see images) and is undoubtedly very striking.
