Description
This is a beautiful Antique Solid Silver Bowl or Dish, perfect for serving sweets or nuts in. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
The bowl is made of shiny Sterling Silver. It has beautifully designed ornate sides with and a solid silver base in the centre.
It was made by William Hutton & Sons Ltd and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1909. The Hallmarks and maker’s mark are hidden in the pattern on one side.
There’s some tarnish which helps to show the pattern well and some scratches to the base. It also has a few very small dents to the base which aren’t very visible.
It weighs 39g. It measures 15.5cm and 12.5cm from the very edge of each rim (6 1/8 and 4 7/8 inches). The solid base measures 9cm by 6cm (3 1/2 inches by 2 3/8 inches). The depth is approx 3cm (just under 1 1/4 inches).
