This exceptional antique George IV sterling silver mustard pot has a circular cylindrical rounded form.
The surface of this silver mustard pot is plain and unembellished, encircled with a gadroon decorated border to the flared upper rim.
This fine silver mustard pot retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with a cast silver ball style finial.
The posterior of the cover is further ornamented with a cast leaf decorated thumbpiece, to the upper portion of the hinge.
This exceptional mustard pot is fitted with a cast C shaped handle, embellished with a leaf decorated thumbpiece.
This exceptional mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner.
This impressive example of antique silverware is supplied with an associated hallmarked London sterling silver spoon, crafted by Jonathan Hayne in 1827.
