Bookcase Stunning Early Victorian Pine C1840

Here we have a wonderful early Victorian Pine bookcase c1840. As you can see the Pine has a wonderful contemporary washed colour and patina. The two pieces separate for ease of movement. The top has an over extending cushion shaped pediment with a stepped moulding. There are decorative pierced spandrels to the up rights. There are 11 original shelves with a stepped moulding to the front. The shelves are fully adjustable with zig zag mouldings and inserts. The base has three cupboards all with working locks and keys. The middle cupboard houses two drawers with flush handles and hand cut dovetail drawers. Perfect for a sitting room study or kitchen.
