Description
Calling all owl collectors! This is a lovely limited edition handcoloured lithograph of a rather outraged looking owl (no.19/30) by well known printmaker and naturalist, David Koster (1926-2014). Signed lower right. This is a large piece which will make a statement in any room!
Koster was born in London 1926, attended the Slade School of Fine Art in the 1940s and was a founder member of the Society of Wildlife Artists in 1964. He exhibited there many times and also at the Royal Academy. He is also the subject of a book by Christine Johnson.
