Description
Five Georgian Chelsea plates and bowls from the 1750/1760s, one possibly later, in differing conditions.
All items are painted with the same rose bud design and four of the items have the Chelsea red anchor mark on it's back. The conditions are pictured as accurate as possible and are in detail as follows:-
* Plate 1 has a diameter of ca 23 cm and a red anchor mark on it's back. It has a hairline fracture at the top of the plate .
* Plate 2 is a soup bowl with no visible damages. There is no mark on the back and this plate could possibly be from a later period while we believe this still to be a Chelsea plate.
* Plate 3 is of same design as plate 1. It has a red anchor mark on it's back and a Georgian/Victorian pedlars repair with seven crampons on the back.
* Plate 4 is a squarish bowl with a red anchor mark on it's back. The bowl has a Georgian/Victorian pedlar's repair with three crampons visible on it's front and one on it's back.
* Plate 5 is an octagonal shaped bowl with a red anchor mark on it's back.. It has a mid 1900's crude repair which could be professionally restored.
All plate are sold as seen, no return accepted.
