French Oak Marble Top Chest of Drawers

Handsome French oak marble-top chest of drawers, with three large drawers, and a shallower upper drawer. A classic design, with no superfluous beading or even handles, with each drawer having its original working lock, and the elegant original key. The condition to the quarter-sawn oak is exceptional, and the marble top has just the lightest of wear consistent with a piece well over a century old. All drawer interiors are clean, and my restorer has repaired the worn drawer-sides, ensuring they all run freely. A beautiful piece, with simple lines, that would work in either a period home or contemporary interior.
