Original Oil on Canvas 'My Mantle Piece' by Rozanne Palmer (b.1932) Framed - Provenance; Purchased from the Artist c.1960

Rozanne Palmer was born in 1932 and first attended Beckenham School of art followed by Canterbury where she was encouraged by James Palmer (no relation). From there she won an exhibition to the Royal Colledge of Art graduating in the mid 1950’s. She then went on to teach art at various schools of art including the Central. Her paintings were regularly shown at the Royal Academy from 1964 until 1987 when she was forced to stop due to an arthritic condition.
