Pair of Original Art Deco Epstein Cloud Armchairs c.1930

So, so good looking and we have a matching pair of these upholstered Cloud armchairs made by Harry & Lou Epstein dating from around the 1930s and so comfortable. Harry and Lou Epstein only did quality and the majority of their pieces were not only made to order but also sing Art Deco style. These are particularly smart being the fully upholstered versions for a change. Condition report - Both chairs are in similar order - we have no movement in the heavy frames or arms. The chairs sit in a pale sage green short cut velvet fabric which is not new but is worn with the odd rub mark here and there but perfectly usable and not a bad colour to be honest. These chairs offer excellent support with sprung backs etc and this pair are as they should be. If you would like them reupholstered please let us know and we can get a quote from our upholsterer - you would require around 8 metres of fabric which we are happy to assist sourcing with samples.
