Splendid Little Oak Art Deco 2 Drawer Table Desk c.1930

This is an impressively designed Art Deco piece likely Gillows or Gomme, we do have a makers design number stamp to the rear and drawers. We were fortunate to have a similar one a few years ago and we have to say this one is a little better. Its totally Deco - the ball feet, the impressive oak curling bentwood legs, little original chrome stepped handles, flower motifs and the shaped top are all very decorative and the whole piece works tremendously. As the year closes to an end, this piece is likely to be the best of this year in its category at Billy Hunt.
