Description
A rare echo of the elegant Edwardian era. This charming piece is a pip or stone tray. Crafted in hallmarked silver, it has a shell shaped body and twin 'lugs' to clip to the side of a plate. At a party or soiree, it would be used to put the discarded pips, stones or small bones on this little accessory and not leave it on the plate with the uneaten food. The last word in fine dining and a link to a bygone age.
