Victorian Albertina Bracelet 10ct Gold Filled 1890s Antique 8 1/2" Length

Fabulous Victorian Ladies very attractive 10ct rose and yellow gold filled (known in the UK as rolled gold) double roller link Albertina bracelet with large and highly ornate side, fancy terminals and dog clip. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 8 1/2" / 22cm total length and weighs a very respectable 13.5 grams. Beautiful 10ct yellow gold filled two row roller links with a large and chunky rose and yellow gold filled slide to centre which measures; 1.9cm length x 1cm width and 4mm depth. This is beautifully adorned to both sides (different design to each) with slightly raised rose gold filled ivy leaves (signifying 'I Cling To Thee' - this bracelet would have been given as a love token) and scroll work set upon an attractive engine turned background. The sides are again crisply decorated with an engine turned raised dot decoration. Correctly moves up and down the entire length of the chains and once in position sits snugly in place as it should. Finished off to each end of the Albertina with an ornate, scrolled yellow gold filled tulip shaped finial with a little raised rose gold filled leaf decoration to either side. Original yellow gold filled dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and large yellow gold filled circular link to the other end. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with absolutely no wear or indentations (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays), just a few extremely light and fine little surface scratches / tiny bit of overall patina (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
