Pocket Watch Chain Fob 1920 Gigantic Sterling Silver & Rose Gold 7.6cm Height

Victorian Gentleman's absolutely enormous (epic proportions - this was made to impress) sterling silver (fully hallmarked, Chester assay) pocket watch chain Antique Scottish thistle shield fob with an attractive 12ct rose gold filled (professionally tested) cartouche to the front. Measures; 7.6cm height (including the top ring), 5.1cm width and weighs a heavy 21.6 grams. I have shown it next to a UK 5 pence coin to give you an idea of size. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Wonderfully adorned to the front with a highly detailed Scottish thistle decoration to either side and engine turned leaves and scrollwork set upon an attractive textured background. To centre is a raised 12ct rose rolled gold shield shaped cartouche with large raised Sterling silver 'ribbon banner' cartouche to top which is free from any inscriptions or initials. The slightly textured back is smooth, highly polished, again free from any inscriptions or initials and very clearly hallmarked to base (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion Passant (Sterling silver), three ears of corn (Chester assay) and uppercase scrolled letter; U - dating to 1920. Also clearly stamped with the makers initials (within an oblong shaped cartouche); Tjs. Original big robust Sterling silver top ring to attach to a pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just a few extremely light overall little surface scratches commensurate with age.
