Victorian Burr Walnut Inlaid Jewellery Box

This is a good quality late 19th Century (c.1880) Victorian antique burr walnut jewellery box, the top and front inlaid with geometric line bandings, the edges banded in ebony & the top with central mother of pearl cartouche surrounded by further marquetry, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The box has been cleaned, professionally French polished and re-lined in a plush petrol green/blue velvet. Tasselled key included but for display only.
