This is an incredibly attractive example of Victorian beds of this style. Slightly lighter and more compact in its design with thinner posts and a lower frame and panel overall. Incredibly pretty clamps and very well detailed fleur-de-lys castings further add to this beds charm. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Boxington and Olive colour with dark wax finish, buffed well to protect and give a gentle shine. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
