It has a single door that opens to allow access to the lined shelves and has a mirrored back, to reflect light. To each side of the door are superb cast gilt brass mounts. The base that has a single door with the sevres style plaque at the centre that is inset with the fine cast brass mount. A fine cast brass moulding.
The cabinetmaker used the finest burr walnut, also cast gilt brass mounts are running around the panel.
A cabinet like this would have only been made in a very small quantity, it may even been a special order. Please do not confuse this with the usual pier cabinets you will see, this is one of the finest made.
Imagine owning this and the pleasure it will give you as well as being a wonderful cabinet to display your special items.
On occasions customers have been disappointed to miss an item as they e-mailed their enquiry instead of phoning, I would recommend that if you wish to get the piece, please call rather than e-mail. We are very friendly and easy to deal with.
