Description
Unusual vintage silk carpet, hand woven in China with a floral Aubusson design on a lemon field and eye catching secondary colours. Note the interesting plaited gold silk fringes. This carpet would have predated the commercial weavings of the 1980s and 1990s that have similar designs.
