Antique Heriz Carpet 3.96m x 2.93m

A fabulous antique Heriz carpet, hand woven circa 1920. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a raspberry red field and deep indigo border. Lovely secondary colours, especially the large, light blue corner spandrels. Size: 3.96m x 2.93m (13ft x 9ft 7in) This rug is in good condition with medium, age related wear, slightly heavier in places. A few areas have been professionally restored, barely noticeable (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
