Watch : Gents 9ct Gold Longines Wrist Watch, 1962

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 23Z hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and it has the serial number 11,980,214 which dates it back to 1962. The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9ct gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London (import mark), 1962, together with the Longines name and the mark for Baume & Co, importers of Longines watch to the UK and the Commonwealth. The case is in lovely condition and is free from any inscriptions. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial has a little marking but not too detrimental, it may have been re-finished at some time in the past. Original hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. A later leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
