Wonderful Pair of English Club Armchairs Early 1920s

Great looking pair of English country house club armchairs ready for upholstery or maybe some fitted loose covers. These have a good look, deep seats, shapely arms and a good stance benefiting from having the original bun feet and little iron casters in place, so often lost or altered. Condition wise they are sitting in fine order. The frames and arms are firm and the chairs are weighty for their size. They currently have a feather seat cushion in place and could be used as they are if wished…. Our upholsterer would be happy to reupholster at a cost of £650 per chair plus fabric which would need around 8 meters per chair. Reupholstery via ourselves is undertaken by a professional upholsterer who is experienced in both traditional and modern techniques. We are happy to assist and advise in the choosing of fabric which would work best for you and the project, if requested. The chair or sofa is checked over for any faults which are remedied and corrected before upholstery, springs are aligned if required and webbing replaced before a full reupholstery is completed and again checked for quality by us. A well shaped pair of classic 1920s English armchairs in incredibly original order - we do have a matching sofa if you desire a set. Price is for the pair delivered. For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item.
