10.20ct Pink Coral and 0.85ct Diamond, Platinum Dress Ring - Vintage Italian Circa 1950

A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 10.20 carat pink coral and 0.85 carat diamond, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse vintage coral jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage coral ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated setting features two impressive oval cabochon cut pink corals, individually claw set in an asymmetrical design. The incurves between the corals incorporate five individually claw set marquise cut diamonds, in foliated formations. The pierced decorated, elevated and twisting ring shoulders are embellished with four channel set baguette diamonds, integrating with the main setting and melding with the plain ring shank. This two stone coral ring with diamonds is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the Italian maker's mark, denoting the piece was assayed in Alessandria, Italy (Al)*. This stunning and unusual ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive vintage cocktail ring is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. Note: * This surround and style of hallmark was used between 1944-1968, determining the date of this piece as circa 1950.
