Stunning, fine and impressive 1930s 11.06 carat green tourmaline and 0.18 carat diamond, 14 carat yellow gold and platinum set brooch; part of our diverse antique tourmaline jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique tourmaline brooch has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a platinum setting. The brooch is embellished with a stunning collet set 11.06ct rectangular faceted cut green tourmaline. The feature stone is flanked to either side with Belle Époque style millegrain decorated settings, incorporating six impressive Old European round cut diamonds in a combination of collet and pavé set. The brooch secures to the reverse with an 14ct yellow gold hinged pin and clasp. This stunning antique brooch is hallmarked to the clasp with the maker's mark (Wab) and the 14ct gold mark (14K), and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 14 carat gold. This impressive brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. This stunning gemstone brooch is excellent quality, set with an impressive tourmaline displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence. The very well colour matched, high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The diamond and tourmaline brooch is an excellent gauge of platinum and gold and is in excellent condition, with clear hallmarks to the clasp. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine tourmaline brooch with diamonds.
