Stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.10 carat ruby and 1.18 carat diamond and platinum ring; part of our collection of antique ruby jewellery. This stunning, fine and impressive antique cluster ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a central feature collet set 1.10ct cabochon cut ruby. The feature ruby is encircled by twelve impressive pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The outer circumference of the ring setting is encompassed with twenty-six two-claw set baguette cut diamonds, completing the ballerina cluster design. The bifurcating ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The antique ruby ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (.100 Irid .900 Plat). This impressive cabochon ruby and diamond ring in platinum is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such stunning and original examples, set with this combination of diamonds, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. This 1930s ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive ruby displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence. The impressive very high colour and clarity graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance; the high diamond grade indicates the fine quality of the ring. The ring is a superior gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a very clear hallmark to the interior of the shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning example of ruby jewellery.
