Impressive antique 1.40 carat jade and 1.38 carat diamond and platinum dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning fine and impressive antique jade ring has been crafted in platinum and palladium. The marquise shaped cluster design is ornamented with a central feature claw set 1.40 ct cabochon cut jadeite*. The jade is encompassed by eighteen claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The outer border of the setting displays a further twenty claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the cluster design. The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the marks for platinum (Plat) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and palladium. This impressive antique jadeite ring is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card for the diamonds and a Gcs jadeite report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London**. Notes: * There are two varieties of jade: nephrite and jadeite. Jadeite is considered to be the rare, higher quality and more expensive stone. ** This documentation certifies the jadeite shows no indications of enhancement. This impressive antique ring is excellent quality, set with a stunning jadeite displaying fine colour and presence. The impressive supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and palladium and is in excellent condition, with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jadeite jewellery/estate jewelry.
