This is a stunning, fine and impressive, large antique Victorian 14.32 carat citrine and natural pearl, 20 carat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This stunning and large Victorian brooch has been crafted in 20ct yellow gold. The oval frame of this gold brooch is embellished with a feature claw set 14.32ct oval faceted cut citrine, encompassed with a rope twist decorated border. The stunning citrine is encompassed with an impressive protruding conjoined yellow gold scroll designs, ornamented with a matte texture in addition to scrolling ornamentation to the inner rim. The junction of each scroll design is further embellished with an impressive claw set natural pearl, surmounting a plain ball motif. The large plain convex oval frame of the brooch is encompassed with a rope twist decorated border to the rim. This gold citrine brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This citrine brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 20ct gold; this purity of gold indicates the high quality of the piece.
