1.53 ct Sapphire & 1ct Diamond, 18ct Yellow Gold Brooch - Antique c.1920

A stunning, fine and impressive 1920s 1.53 carat sapphire and 1.00 carat diamond, 18ct yellow gold and silver set brooch; part of our authentic antique jewellery/jewelry collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with silver settings. The brooch has a pierced decorated, triangular form with scrolling 18ct yellow gold borders. The antique triangular brooch is ornamented with an impressive feature four claw set 1.53ct oval faceted cut sapphire, centre to the design. The stunning feature sapphire is encompassed with five impressive individually silver collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, conjoining the sapphire's setting to the outer frame. The scrolling outer frame is ornamented with eighteen pavé set eight-cut diamonds, accented with a further individually silver collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond to each corner and incurve. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and brooch clasp fastening; if required a ring loop could be attached to facilitate this versatile piece to be worn as a pendant. The hinged pin is hallmarked with the 14ct gold hallmark (585). This impressive sapphire and diamond brooch is supplied with three Idgl diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card for the sapphire and supporting stones.
