18th Century London Longcase Grandfather Clock

This is a smart 18th Century antique longcase clock by Joseph Leake of London. The case is in nicely figured mahogany and of typical ''London'' design with a long moulded trunk door and paneled base. The good quality 8 day 5 pillar movement has a brass dial with silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and an unusual date dial to the arch.
