Description
Boxed hallmarked solid silver 1/2 pink tankard mug. Full London hallmark to the tankard with the date letter for 1909 and the makers mark for Makers mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths & Co Ltd of Regent Street, London. One of the top silversmiths of the period and highly collected. The half pint tankard is decorated with stepped rims, ring details around the body and a scrollwork handle. It has a heavy blank cartouche to the base along with the retailers stamp for J Vincent of Weymouth. The inside of the mug is gilded and as shown in the pictures this looks stunning. In it's original fitted box which is also in excellent condition. Apologies for any reflections in the pictures, these are not marks in the silver. Happy to answer any questions.
