Description
This stunning 1930s peach cloud mirror is in beautiful condition.
The mirror consists of two pieces, a stylised peach entre plate and contrasting quarter moon shaped green mirror section.
The main peach centre plate has rear cut lines which give the plate a look of five individual mirrored pieces. This piece is cut in the shape of a cloud which is a traditional deco design. It has a deep bevelled edge all round which reflects the light very well.
The lower quarter moon shaped green mirrored section also has a good bevelled edge all round and contrast its colour with the peach mirror plate.
This mirror is in very good condition. The main plate is exceptional, there are no chips nibbles or deep scratches however the green mirrored section does have some age related Marks at the rear (patina) which is not unusual for a mirror of this age (see pics).
The mirrored sections are mounted on a wooden backboard with the original fixtures and fittings on the rear.
