1960s Stratton Large Vintage Makeup Compact

A glorious unused vintage refillable Stratton powder compact which is ideal for all loose foundation and standard pressed foundation. The cobalt blue enamel has the most lustrous sheen. Two rows gilt diamond cut shapes give the impression of a starburst design. The whole compact is in excellent condition. The stunning enamel does not have any losses or fading. The compact is ideal for use with all standard sizes (59 - 67 mm diameter) of pressed face powder. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The powder well is protected by the original coat of lovely white enamel. The base is decorated with circular bands of golden stars. The compact is presented with the original box, pouch, puff, sifter, inspection docket and instruction leaflet. The Stratton Slim Convertible compact is signed Stratton Made in England.
