19th Century Antique Burr Walnut Davenport

19th Century burr walnut davenport, the sloping top has the original tan colour leather writing surface decorated with blind tooling, which lifts up to reveal a compartment with four drawers, two of which are dummy drawers, also on top there is a hinged lift up lid which opens up to reveal partitions for letters, pens, stamps etc. There are four working drawers on one side and four dummy drawers the other side, all with original wooden turned knob handles, the working drawers are mahogany lined, the front section fitted with a lovely burr walnut panel as well as the reverse of the desk, four decorative carved corner brackets to the front and raised on a shaped platform base terminating on turned feet.
