This is a smart 19th Century antique longcase clock by Kimich & Co, Bath. They are listed as working there in the mid 19th Century.
The case is of typical West country design with a wavey edge to the hood and no back feet (it was designed to lean against a wall) It is in nicely figured mahogany and has retained it's original eagle and ball finials. The trunk door also has it's original lock and key.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has a very decorative painted dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials. The arch displays the phases of the moon.
The case is in good original condition. The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. The dial is original and has some crazing and minor marks but considering it is getting on for 200 years old it is pretty good.
