A lovely little Geo III and later musical Longcase clock. The nice quality case is veneered in mahogany. The long trunk door retains it's original lock and key.
The movement is later than the case and dates from the late 19th, early 20th Cent. It is excellent quality and in good condition. It plays either Westminster or Whittington chimes on the quarter hours on either 8 or 4 bells. It also strikes the hours on a larger bell and has a nice set of brass cased weights. The dial has selectors for strike/silent and Westminster/Whittington chimes
The case is in good condition and has retained its original finish and has a good colour.
