You cannot beat the reclining rake of this 19th century designed armchair, immediately positioning you for a relaxing comfortable time whilst reading your favourite book. It seems someone back in time the brief was...the chair has to look absolutely fabulous, have the best look from any angle, be made from high quality materials (usually hardwood), embellish the chair will an interesting features and make its so it follows the contours of a body. Not much is required really!
This example has just this...hardwood frame, carved and turned legs with a subtle detailing to the frog legs. The rear legs are swept back with original brass & ceramic castors. The open arms have padded fabric for additional comfort and it has been reupholstered at some point with a quality material. The material is clean and perfectly useable.
