A fine early 19th Century Rosewood stand with cluster columns, lovely shaped dolphin feet and top with superbly shaped inverted corners. It is highly likely that this stand was made by Gillows of Lancaster, as this design is usually attributed to them. The quality of the craftsmanship along with the use of timbers and the wonderful burnished colour, in particular that of the top make this table special.
