Available for sale from W&W Antiques is a decorative Scottish spongeware print, dished rice bowl. - Rim line and four flowers in red, floral sponge print decoration, green foliage and sponge print flowers in groups of three in blue. - Unmarked to the base with a small raised foot to the shallow bowl. Similar pattern and size of bowl identified amongst a number of British potteries for export to also be produced from the Glasgow pottery of J. & M.P.
