For sale is an attractive Swedish earthenware pottery dished bowl from the mid 19th Century. - An attractive and tactile earthenware dished bowl marked 1850 to the bowl base in warm and earthy colour with simple, slipware decoration to the topside with the date and a decorative lines applied to the rim of the bowl - The un-glazed underside is graduated in shape / design as the bowl has been produced (shown in the images) with a good dished shape for soup / stews etc - The rustic earthenware bowl is from Southern Sweden A highly decorative bowl of simple vernacular design from Sweden *The table, wooden spoon and 18th century stump-stake candlestick shown in the images are for scale and context only and are not included in this listing.
