19th Century Worcester Botanical Comport & Plate

Offered for sale is a 19th Century "Worcester Royal Porcelain Works" botanical subject reticulated comport and matching plate. The plate bears impressed marks for Worcester and Worcester Royal Porcelain Works, the comport bears the stamp of retailer Spiers & Son of Oxford. Both with scalloped and pierced borders decorated with foliage and the piercing hand painted to accentuate, decoration replicated on the foot of the comport.
