Description
Stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.04 carat ruby and 0.96 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold and platinum set dress ring; part of our diverse collection of 1930's ruby cocktail rings. This stunning, fine and impressive ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings. The substantial circular domed, pierced decorated 18ct yellow gold setting is ornamented with a feature claw set round faceted cut ruby to the centre. The feature ruby is framed by an eight-pointed stellate design, accented with emanating interlacing swirl designs incorporating eight further individually claw set round faceted cut rubies. The yellow gold frame incorporates eight platinum settings alternating with the aforementioned rubies, creating a swirl design. Each platinum setting is embellished with four pavé set eight-cut diamonds, totalling 0.96ct and graduating in size depending on location. The substantial multi-stranded ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the 18ct yellow gold ring shank. This antique ring is hallmarked to the exterior surface of the shank with the French 18ct gold mark (eagle's head) and platinum mark (dog's head). This antique gemstone cocktail ring is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
