Description
A stunning, fine and impressive 2.42 carat bloodstone and 14 carat yellow gold signet ring; part of our diverse antique signet rings collection. This fine and impressive antique signet ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold. This Victorian ring is embellished with an impressive and large collet set 2.42ct oval bloodstone panel to the centre of the setting. The flared, moulded ring shoulders blend seamlessly with thering shank. This men's bloodstone ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 carat gold. This impressive ring is supplied with an Idgl gemstone grading report card. Such large examples in this fine condition are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this piece is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Note: Bloodstone is a mineral more formally known as heliotrope. The classic, most recognisable opaque bloodstone is green jasper with red inclusions of hematite; these definable inclusions are said to resemble spots of blood. This vitreous stone has many traditions and superstitions associated to it, from the ability to slow bleeding of wounds, to bringing favour, courage and endurance to the owner. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition This men's signet ring is exceptional quality, set with an impressive bloodstone panel displaying fine colour and presence. The decoration to the shoulders is sharp. The ring is a superior gauge of gold and is in exceptional condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive antique bloodstone signet ring in yellow gold.
