A stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.55 carat diamond and enamel, 9 carat yellow gold and silver set horse and jockey brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive diamond brooch has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold with a silver setting. The antique diamond brooch has been modelled in the form of a horse and jockey. The jockey is wearing navy and white silks, with a yellow cap and black boots. The reins and riding crop have been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold. The arms of the jockey are articulated to the joints; these mobile joints indicate the high quality of the piece. The silver set horse is ornamented with a total of one hundred pavé set diamonds, in a combination of transitional modern brilliant round cuts and eight-cuts. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, and benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain and safety pin style fastening. This antique equestrian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 ct gold and silver. The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
