This is a stunning, fine and impressive pair of 2.75 carat diamond and 15 carat yellow gold, platinum set drop earrings - boxed; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. These stunning, fine and impressive antique drop earrings have been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold with platinum settings. Each earring displays a stunning millegrain decorated collet set Old European cut diamond to the terminal of a linear drop, accented with a plain platinum border. The linear drops each suspend and articulate from a slightly smaller collet set Old European cut diamond to the apex, completing the design. The antique earrings secure to the reverse with a French latch fastening. These 1920s diamond drop earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold and platinum. This impressive drop earrings are supplied with two independent diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. The drop earrings are fitted to an antique simulated hinged presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch; this associate box is from a similar period to the earrings. The interior of the cover bears the retailer's mark 'Alfredo B Bones, Trelew, Chubut'.
