Stunning, fine and impressive antique 3.35 carat diamond and platinum brooch - boxed; an addition to our collection of 1920s diamond brooches. This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. The fine pierced decorated lemniscate-shaped frame displays a central collet set 0.85ct Old European round cut diamond. This interlacing bar brooch is further ornamented with one-hundred and fourteen diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight cuts. This horizontal platinum and diamond brooch secures to the reverse with hinged pin and safety catch; if required a bale could be attached to the ring loop attachment at one end, allowing the piece to be suspended vertically and worn as a pendant. This impressive brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This stunning antique brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an Idgl diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. The antique brooch is fitted to a period leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. This stunning, finely crafted brooch is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
