Description
This is a very large antique ship's wheel. An English, oak and bronze decorative maritime helm, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
High maritime appeal with a strikingly wide diameter that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Select oak shows fine grain interest and deep caramel hues. Further accentuated with an ebonised finish to spokes.
8 turned spokes pass through the middle fellow with tapered handles. The king spoke distinguished with an ebonised finish. Bronze cappings presents deep golden hues front and rear. Later ship's emblem to the centre for HMS Talent.
This is a fascinating antique ship's wheel with high collector appeal for those of maritime interest. Of superior weight and pleasingly time worn, commensurate with age. Delivered ready for the home or institution.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our antiques.
