Description
A very fine example of a ships clock, unusually, this one striking the 8 bells of the watch. A beautifully clean brass case that has been lacquered to prevent tarnishing. A very heavy cast brass opening door with thick, bevelled glass. The impeccable white enamelled dial has black Roman numerals and hands. It is signed "Schatz. Royal Mariner, 8 bells, 7 jewels." Also a regulator adjuster and a strike/silent button.
It has just been serviced by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
A lovely quality clock.
