A Large Victorian Carved Oak Country House Hallstand

A large and impressive carved oak country house hallstand, circa 1890. The hallstand is adorned with fruit and fauna and is profusely carved throughout with dragons, lions and an angel as well as the Greenman mask. The full length mirror is set within a carved moulded frame and is surrounded by eight gilt brass hooks. Turned columns capped with finials, two stick - umbrella stands with original removable drip trays. Raised on a moulded base with internal shoe box with underside bun feet. The architectural pediment is removable. Viewing by appointment only.
