A Victorian Rosewood Rise & Fall Piano Stool

An attractive antique Victorian rosewood piano stool with rise and fall action operated by turning knobs on either side of the seat dating from circa 1880. It has a reeded seat support and knobs and stands on turned legs with cross stretchers. It has been newly recovered in a red brocade fabric. Stamped with makers numbers underneath. Most likely made by H Brooks. Construction/Wood Rosewood Condition Report Solid and sturdy. Rise and fall action in good working order. Newly Scuffs, marks and wear commensurate with age. Newly recovered. Upholstery underneath is old and webbing is coming apart. An old solid mend to cross stretcher.
