Description
Fantastic very rare Gustav Becker monumental Vienna regulator wall clock ca 1880. Original enamel dial with red motifs in between the roman numerals, has a subsidiary seconds dial with original ornate hands. The movement is an 8 day twin weight driven Gustav Becker movement with a deadbeat escapement. The case is solid burr walnut with wonderful foliate carvings and turned finials, bluster pillars flanking the sides, front glazed to see the pendulum in motion.
