Stunning, fine and impressive 0.82 carat diamond, 0.15 carat sapphire and pearl, 12 carat yellow gold shell bar brooch; part of our diverse antique brooch collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold. The tapering bar is ornamented to the terminal with an impressive feature claw set Old European cut diamond. The swept portion is embellished with two claw set round faceted cut sapphires, flanking a linear array of four pavé set diamonds in a combination of Old European, eight and Dutch cuts. The centre of the bar brooch features an impressive and highly desirable scrolling shell design, incorporating a pearl with emanating arrays of pavé set diamonds to the body of the motif, in addition to two collet set Old European cut diamonds to the upper portion. This antique brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 12ct yellow gold.
